Frate Designs Lowes Racing Site

My next project at Burke is a fun and very high profile/octane project! I am putting together a design for the
Lowes Racing Team. This team includes Jimmy Johnson, the 2008 Nextel cup champion. I am responsible for
the design, as well as a header animated in Flash. Although the site is a big design, the actual construction
of the site will be done by a third party vendor. The goal is to have it done by the Daytona 500, so the
turnaround is really quick.
The site includes a lot of racing textures, from stainless steel to asphalt. The texture gives the site a lot of
character and is sure to boost the aesthetics. The Flash header is gives a great sense of speed with the #48
car racing by. It also features the two Championship Cups that continuously sparkle, as they should. I am really
excited to see the final product, as well as releasing it to racing fans around the world!
I am sure this site will make the champ proud, as there are plenty of great NASCAR sites out there. I am sure
this design will blow the doors/links off the competition!
